If you have completed the sixth grade or higher (rising 7th-12th grades), apply to assist Youth Services staff with the Kids’ Summer Reading Challenge! Applications are available in Youth Services or on our website beginning May 1.

Please note that a 30-minute training session is required; contact youth@ghpl.org or call (614)486-2951 to schedule.

You may also access the 2026 Volunteen Application here. Please fill out and either bring to your training or return to the Youth Services or Basement desk.

GHPL is a founding member (1988) and the Administering Library for the Central Library Consortium (CLC).

This cooperative among 18 Central Ohio library systems, in partnership with statewide network OhioLINK, offers 67 million items to cardholders.
